The Hotel & Restaurant
Association of Orissa (HRAO), established since 1984, is the
largest body of travel trade owners and professionals hotels
/ tour operators and travel agents / tourism educational
institutions in the state of Orissa working in close
cooperation with each other with the common aim of promoting
the tourism industry of the State.
The Association which was started by nine members, today it
has 215 members spread all over the State.
Besides promoting tourism, the association works for
imparting knowledge to members on the new laws formulated by
the government and other bodies from time to time and helps
members to maintain a healthy and hygienic atmosphere in
their institutions.
The association also promotes fairs and festivals across the
state through its members and works in close cooperation
with the government for promoting tourism in the State. |
