| a) |
To provide a common
platform or place for meeting of the members of Association
for the purpose of discussion of common problems,
advancement of hotel. Tourism & Travel Welfare ideas, for
the protection of members interest. Also for the tourism
prospective & development in Orissa. |
| b) |
To develop
Hotel Industry inside the state and also to develop the said
industry outside the State wherever necessary with the
mutual arrangement with any Government or Private Sector. |

c) |
To develop Tourism industry as
a whole inside and outside the State and to develop national
& international tourism in India & abroad wherever felt
necessary. |
|
d) |
To provide diffusion of
knowledge about Hotel business among the members and
inter-change of the ideas between members of same nature of
organization. |
|
e) |
To develop civic consciousness
for tourism, to raise quality of hotel business and to take
steps for development and quality enactment of appropriate
legislature for the interest of the members within the
jurisdiction of Society Registration Act. |

f) |
To acquire and take over any
immovable or movable properties of nature, if offered or
found sick to expand the very objectives of the association. |
|
g) |
To maintain, deal with and
manage the said movable and immovable properties for the
interest of the association. |
|
h) |
To enter into any arrangement,
contract a partnership with any Government authority or
person whosoever and to obtain from any Government authority
or person such rights, concession and privileges, as the
association may think desirable and to obtain carryout,
exercise and comply with any such arrangement, contract
privilege, right or concession to achieve the aims of the
association as per the provision of the Bye Law. |

To do and cause to be done all
such lawful things as are in accord with the spirit and
principles of the objects of the Association or which
are conductive to the attainment and persuit of the aims and
objects of the association. |

j) |
To encourage, promote and
protect the growth of Tourism Industry, Hotel & Industry
business all persons within members interests or concern in
such nature of activities. Hotels, Restaurants, Boarding
Houses and all allied trades and to take such steps as may
be considered expedient for that purpose, including the
provision of legal and other professional advise and
assistance to promote & protect. |

k) |
To collect and disseminate
statistical and other information relating to Hotel and
kindred interests and to diffuse among its members
information on all matters affecting hotels, restaurants,
boarding houses and all allied trades and to print, publish,
issue and circulate such papers, periodicals, books,
circulars, pamphlets and other literature as may seem
conductive to any of these objects or calculated to advance
those interests for the benefit of members. |

l) |
To consider all questions
affecting the interests of hotels and restaurants and any
legislation, bye-laws or regulations affecting the same, and
to initiate, support or oppose such legislation or
regulation either by petition, public meetings or otherwise
any legal matters deems to be fit. |

m) |
To establish, subsidize,
promote, co-operate or amalgamate with affiliate with or
become affiliated to, to federate or join a federation of
any similar Associations with objects altogether or in part
similar to those of the Associations, act as trustees or
agents for, or manage, control, superintend lend monetary
assistance to or otherwise assist any association and
institutions incorporated or not incorporated with objects
altogether or in part similar to those of the Association
and which may prohibit the payment of any dividend or such
profit to its members as would be contrary to the intention
of Societies Registration Act 1860, and not being a trade
union. |

n) |
To acquire and take over and
apply for the purpose and objects of this Association, all
or any of the assets and liabilities of any association or
corporation having objects similar to this Association. |
|
o) |
To apply for and obtain any
rights, concerns and privileges from, and to enter into any
arrangements that may seem directly or indirectly conductive
to the objects of this Association with any authorities,
supreme, local or otherwise. |
|
p) |
To invest the funds of the
Association not immediately required for the purpose of the
Association upon such securities or otherwise in such manner
as may from time to time be determined as laid down in Trust
Act 20 with approval of General Body. |
|
q) |
To encourage the invention and
make known the nature and merits of inventions, which may
seem capable of being used by persons engaged in hotels,
restaurants, boarding houses and all allied trades and to
acquire any patents or licenses relating to any such
inventions with a view to the use thereof by the members of
the Association, either gratuitously or upon such terms as
may seem expedient. |

r) |
To purchase, take on lease or
exchange, hire or otherwise acquire, any property (movable
or immovable) and any rights or privileges, which the
Association may think necessary or convenient for the
purpose of its business & activities. |
|
s) |
To construct, maintain,
enlarge, alter, pull down and remove any buildings or works
of Association necessary or convenient for the purposes of
the Association. |
|
t) |
To sell, improve, manage,
develop, exchange, lease, mortgage, dispose of, turn to
account or otherwise deal with, all or any part of the
property and rights of the Association subject to approval
of the General Body as per the Societies Act, 1860. |
|
v) |
To establish, undertake,
superintend, administer and contribute to any charitable or
benevolent fund from which donation or advances may be given
to deserving persons who be or have been engaged in hotels,
restaurants, boarding houses and all allied trades or
connected with any person engaged therein and to contribute
to or otherwise assist any charitable or benevolent
institutions or undertakings or offered by Govt. on contract
service basis subject to approval of the General Body as per
the Societies Act, 1860. |

w) |
To raise or borrow money and
secure the repayment thereof on such terms as may seem
expedient subject to approval of the General Body as per the
Societies Act, 1860. |
|
x) |
To draw, make, accept, endorse,
discount, execute and issue promissory notes, bills of
exchange, debentures and other negotiable or transferable
instruments or securities when required subject to approval
of the General Body as per the Societies Act, 1860. |
|
y) |
To unite Hotel & Restaurant
establishments of the State for similar objects to encourage
promote and protect through lawful means for the interests
of the hotels and restaurant industry and to be conferred
with the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Orissa as an
Organization Member of this association subject to approval
of the General Body as per the Societies Act, 1860. |

|
1. |
HRAO shall organize
fairs & festivals along with Tourism marts within
the State, National & International levels. |
|
2. |
HRAO shall institute
awards for Hotel, Travel & Tourism fraternity to be
awarded every year. |
|
3. |
HRAO shall establish
institute/educational institutions for better
academy excellency and employment in Tourism
Fraternity & Hospitality. |
